Effective Grease Practices from The Nuclear Maintenance Application Center
AMRRI’s very own Mike Johnson collaborated with Rich Wurzbach and EPRI to craft “Nuclear Maintenance Applications Center: Effective Grease Practices.”
A word from Mike Johnson:
“Speaking of Greased Bearing Problems.…. A few years ago I worked closely with MRG Laboratories’ Rich Wurzbach to write a definitive statement on grease-based machine lubrication practices, addressing the topic A to Z. This was done for the Electric Power Research Institute’s Nuclear Maintenance Applications Group.
This definitive report has been released for public consumption. If you want a Grease Applications Bible, then here is your chance.
This document covers Grease Practices Definition (volume and frequency), Grease Application, Acoustic Analysis, Grease Sampling and Analysis, and much more.
Nick Camilli and Rich Wurzbach – you guys are brilliant! I’m pleased to have been a part of this project.”
